CLASS 5 TRUCK DRIVER

We are looking for an experienced Class 5 Truck Driver to join our team.
Based at our Pukerau yard on State Highway 1, just 10 minutes from Gore, this is a varied position with plenty of operating responsibility.
About the Role
Transporting hay, baleage, bulk loads, heavy machinery and other freight.
Operating heavy truck and trailer combinations, and heavy truck and semi-trailer combinations, on farm tracks and in yards, including maneuvering in tight spaces.
Using a truck-mounted crane to load bags onto truck and trailer combinations.
Managing daily responsibilities efficiently and proactively.
The role is primarily truck driving, with occasional opportunities for digger work if you have experience or an interest in learning, this is by no means essential for the role. The role may involve overnight stays away from home from time to time.
Skills and Experience
A current Class 5 driver’s licence.
A minimum of two years’ experience operating heavy truck and trailer combinations.
A reliable, proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
A willingness to learn and adapt to changing work requirements.
Comfortable using a tablet and other technology, with training provided.
